Judging by Trump’s recent comments about Apple and Walmart it looks like the US has become a communist country with Trump making all business decisions.
If Trump thinks the US needs the biggest airplane because the US is the greatest nation, then he only showcases his utter ignorance about the formation of the country, the founding fathers, the constitution and what makes this country great. According to his logic his residence should then be a palace. But the White House is by design not that opulent. It is not supposed to be a palace and the same is true for air force one. The president is one of three, equal parts of government .. elected by we the people. He is no king or prince. Not only would the “palace in the sky” be unconstitutional because presidents are not allowed to accept gifts like that but it would also go against anything the US stands for.
The moment you find excuses to follow the constitution you might as well throw it away and with that shut down the US. Trump and all republicans should be impeached for not upholding their oath of office which states they should uphold and protect the constitution… they do neither. People don’t like everything in it … liberals tend to not like the guns part … right not maga people don’t like the due process part. That is why the constitution is so important nobody is fully happy but everyone upholds it … well until now.
If Trump can accept a $400 million gift which is against the constitution, if the constitutionally enshrined due process can be broken by this government … then why do we care about illegal immigrants? It seems committing crimes is just American now.
What is the US with more immigrants? It is what the US has always been, a country full of dynamism and growth. What is the US without the constitution? …. NOTHING.
If all of the tariff bluster was about bringing manufacturing back to the US, the China deal exposes that as the fraud it was. Nobody will bring manufacturing back to the US to avoid 10% tariffs … it’s the status quo with a 10% tax on US consumers. So as usual the little guy pays.

So the administration that had a problem with people wearing masks to prevent the spread of a deadly virus is ok for police, ICE and other government security personnel to wear masks to hide their faces. Wearing a mask in the circumstance means they are afraid to be recognized … the question is why?
The US economy is no longer a free market … it is now a Trump market. Companies can’t decide what is best they have to follow Trump’s decree or fear retribution. The result will be a less competitive US for decades to come.
Stock market is up today … thank you President Biden for the positive economic news. According to Trump this is all Biden’s doing. So let’s thank our last president.
Trump’s desire to build everything in the US, have millions of workers put together iPhones, as well as cars, toys, tshirts … doesn’t work. And not only because of wages … no mostly because there are not enough Americans to do all that. Especially not at a time when the administration is kicking out millions. The age we live in should “the age of the grifter” … while the 1980’s were about greed, today’s age similar in that everything is about a quick buck without work. But while the 80’s focused on Wall Street and was driven by the elites, today’s age of the grifter is a more democratic version of that. But the outcome is the same, a single minded focus on enriching oneself, as quickly as possible.

The government has many functions. Infrastructure, safety and security are among the commonly agreed on key functions. With the US being a brand in addition to being a country, brand management is another key and high,y beneficial function. Doge said it would focus on making government efficient. Ok great. All for that. But just getting rid of functions has ZERO to do with efficiency. That’s just cutting. This is like saying you want to lose weight and you start to cut of limbs.
