Trump legalized breaking into houses

Violently breaking and entering a house/building should be considered a fundamental crime in a society of law and order. By pardoning January 6 criminals, Trump makes a mockery of justice. So what is self defense now? If it is legal to break into a house, how can shooting the person breaking in in “self defence” be considered self defence?
